Highlights

Location: Near York's city center

Rooms: Stylishly decorated guest rooms

Dining: Signature pub menu featuring classic British cuisine

Entertainment: Live music nights & seasonal barbeques

“This adults-only spot near the city walls has a genuinely local feel, especially with its lively pub and well-kept beer garden; rooms are fresh, the breakfast is generous, and the staff remembers even small requests, which makes the experience feel tailored. Imperfect windows and some noise are drawbacks, so request a courtyard room, but the warm welcome and good value still make it a worthwhile base for exploring York.”

fantastic stay!

friendly staff generous breakfast
i found the staff very friendly and helpful. the breakfast was generous with multiple options. the provided parking was convenient (a great bonus in this area).
the room felt a little small for an extended stay. the street noise was noticeable, especially during peak hours. i think better soundproofing would improve the experience.
